What's the cheapest way to make a payment in Euros?

Hello - I need to pay a deposit for some holiday accommodation in Euros to the Camping Village.

Yesterday I paid for a flight in Euros and decided Paypal was a very bad way to do it!!

Does anyone know whether it would be cheaper to do a bank transfer direct to their account or pay by credit card?

I have a Nationwide credit card which I use specifically for spending abroad with, following advice from Martin Lewis Money Saving Expert website. Worth checking out.

Pay by credit card. Bank transfers are a bad way of paying for items as there is no protection should anything go wrong.

Thanks both - many moons ago I opened a nationwide account for traveling abroad. I've tried to negotiate moneysavingexpert...must try harder!
