Every year dc and I have a little thing where we write to Santa to ask for 3 things each. Not big things because Santa only gets small presents and they have to be fairly easy to get (previously they’ve asked for small Lego sets, new pencil case etc). On the last day of November we put the letters on the fire. In my envelope I just put some copper sulphate, when the fire turns blue that means Santa has got his letter, everyone is happy.
Except this year I didn’t take a photo of them before we put them on the fire. I got my phone out ready to take a photo but looking in my phone gallery it appears I took a photo of the cat instead. Dc’s are 7 and 3, dc1 writes the letter for dc2 and he won’t tell me what they asked for. Dc1 is starting to question Santa and I’m pretty sure he won’t tell me because he knows that I’ll be buying it. Should I tell him? Or try and wheedle it out of him some other way? Dc2 has already forgotten what he asked for so he’ll be happy with whatever he gets.
