Is there anything I can do about it? 🤢
Also why only in the evenings?!

It'll be either the sink or bath / shower trap.
Use a drain cleaner and then flush with lots of hot water.

P.S. I'm assuming that no-one uses that sink, shower etc earlier in the evening. The smell has probably built up during the day.

We use the bath and sink but not usually the shower. I will get some drain cleaner!

You need to run the shower at least weekly with some cleaning product. Ours used to do this.

I got 3 x bottles of cilit bang odour eliminator & unblocker & put one in bath, shower & sink - seems to have done the trick! Thanks

Watching this with interest. I'm having exactly the same problem at the moment. I'm on the ground floor in a block of flats. The smell is neither there all the time nor at regular times. It's a mystery. No amount of bleach, or drain cleaner has worked.

Also check where it goes outside, I had this in the kitchen and the drain was blocked with leaves etc meaning that stagnant water had nowhere to go and the smell went back up the pipes (not the most scientific explanation but basically it).
