Parents of 12 year old girls: help!!

It's my goddaughter 12th birthday coming up and she wanted some fluffy pyjamas amongst other things. I've bought these for her but now worrying that they are a bit babyish (being 12-13 year size) She's quite a sweet girl and not very streetwise.
Would your 12 year old DD wear them???

DD would, nearly 13. She'd like the cosyness.
I would add a funky lipgloss to the gift too.

Winterdaysarehere · 03/12/2019 14:52

Dd 12 nearly 13 would love these!

madnessitellyou · 03/12/2019 14:54

My dd is 12 and wouldn’t, sorry, but then she’s not particularly girly. She’d be delighted with a blanket made of the same material, however.

My DD is 11. Yes she would wear and love these, very snug.

BlackeyedSusan · 03/12/2019 14:59

autsistic dd, 13 would, I think, based on what she wears now. Autism though skews lots of things.

damnthatanxiety · 03/12/2019 15:10

She asked for fluffy pyjamas. Fluffy pyjamas generally come in the sort of pattern yours have so they will be the sort of thing she anticipated. She'll probably love them.

Themazeoflife · 03/12/2019 15:13

Yes mine would

Devaki · 03/12/2019 15:14

My 11 would love them. I’d quite like a pair myself tbh.

maxiflump1 · 03/12/2019 15:17

Thanks all. Feeling a bit more confident now! @Devaki apparently they do them in adult sizes too.....!

Dd is nearly 13 and very particular what she will and wont wear. She would most definitely wear those!

BarkandCheese · 03/12/2019 16:17

Mine would like them, she’d consider them kawaii and therefore a style statement.

maxiflump1 · 03/12/2019 19:19

@BarkandCheese I've just had to google what kawaii is. Every days a school day on MN!
