Just been in the York store which is a pretty big one. Total yawn fest, nothing exciting at all and most significantly it feels half empty. Do we reckon the nation has reached maximum chintz and cute print saturation?

The Harrogate store closed recently...maybe

They have finished the Disney collaboration which is a shame as some of the prints from that were lovely.
The new Peanuts print launches this week though what little I've seen hasn't made me want to rush out and buy any of it.

I want to go back to the glory days of cowboys, guinea pigs and gnomes but everything is a bit meh lately.

There are too many copies now and it's lost it's niche market, that combined with how it is overpriced and outdated puts me off, I think it's had it's day.

Pavlova31 · 03/12/2019 13:46

I hope they keep going. I love their flowery vintage style things Smile

Pavlova31 · 03/12/2019 13:47

Well made too .

I think it's had its day. It always has been overpriced.

sassafras123 · 03/12/2019 14:00

Way overpriced

youngestisapsycho · 03/12/2019 14:02

I like some of their stuff but not with their logo on it! They've also stopped making wipeable tablecloths...

AlexaAmbidextra · 03/12/2019 14:13

Horrible twee stuff!

MaybeDoctor · 03/12/2019 14:13

Well, the world’s best-selling bra is the Triumph Doreen. Beloved of ladies of a certain age...

Perhaps you aren’t CK’s target market?

The shop in Winchester has closed. It's surprising as it always seemed to be busy.
