X-ray and blood tests results

Hi

I have previously posted about my son's leg ache, he seen a paeditrician and she said it could possibly be a slipped growth plate.

She took bloods and done x-rays on Wednesday afternoon, I am still awaiting the results. I called today to see if any results were back, the receptionist said she had just that minute put my son's results on the paedetrician's desk for review but he wasn't in the office and that the x-ray results were not back.

How long am I expected to wait for x-ray results? I thought it was a day or 2? The radiographers who done them, I know they aren't trained on delivering results but surely they must know a little about them? So if they thought there was something there wouldn't they fast track them? And if the paeditrician was back in his office this afternoon would he have phoned me this afternoon if ther was anything alarming?

Sorry for all the questions but my stomach has been doing somersaults since wed and I can't help but feel there is something wrong.

They can't find anything wrong, only thing they found was a benign tumour on his femur but they said that really common and doesn't usually cause pain but he'll see him again end of Jan

Hi.

How frustrating for you both. I'm glad they didn't find anything though.

Is your DS still having headaches too?

Hi

Yes he still has the headaches but not as often as he was
