...and so I'm bringing you another advent calendar this year, showing what the Playmobil people are getting up to in the run up to Christmas.

Matthias is putting up his Christmas decorations and Marta has come over to help him.

@soupforbrains you are right, I have a planner for my Playmo threads. And many lists for Playmo names, family trees and place names. Hope it all makes sense!

Such a gorgeous thread, I bet you are so lovely in real life! X

soupforbrains · 17/12/2019 23:16

@SoMuchToBits I love it I lose track a little but the fact they everything (and everyone) in playmo land has a backstory adds such depth and make your threads really immersive and engaging. I wish I could come round to play!

@SunshineDays2019 I may not be lovely, but at least I'm organised!

@soupforbrains where do you live? Maybe you could come round to play...

@SoMuchToBits all you have to do is to tweet this thread link to couple of the publishers, the rest will follow easily.
Lots of luck, I'd buy a book! X

Just found this thread! Lovely Smile. I remember last year’s fondly, and it’s just what I need at the moment.

Laska2Meryls · 18/12/2019 07:06

Thanks Somuch your playmo thread has been 'my' daily advent calendar treat thisyear .. ( and last ..) and yes, its great to see the families..

Bloodybridget · 18/12/2019 07:18

SoMuch your snowy slopes are very convincing. Flannelette sheet or felt, maybe? But quite understand if you want to preserve the mystery!

petalpower · 18/12/2019 07:44

I am SoMuch’s friend in RL and yes she is lovely (and very organised!!).

Atalune · 18/12/2019 07:52

Ah sweet! I knew there must be an official Playmobil census document somewhere.

Lovely thread. Joy joy joy

SoMuchToBits · 18/12/2019 11:08

@Bloodybridget it's just a plain white cotton sheet (from John Lewis) draped over a beanbag!

@petalpower that's very kind of you!

At the ski lodge, Matthias has bought gluhwein for himself and Marta, and soft drinks for the boys. He's now buying a basket of chips for them to share.

Love the attention to detail! The icicles on the roof and the little reindeer face on the menu board!

soupforbrains · 18/12/2019 11:36

I love it! I'm still jealous of this lovely ski-break they're all on.

I live in Hampshire @SoMuchToBits so no idea how far away that is from you. But I do drive and travel a fair bit for work so...

Laska2Meryls · 18/12/2019 12:06

I know she is a resilient girl , but what we need is some lovely crafty Mnetters to make Marta a scarf coat and hat! (sadly I am useless at that sort of thing or I'd send one to you so much

...and yes I am still over-invested in the Marta/Mattias relationship ! was from the very first time when he came over with presents and they shared a glass of wine, last year I think it was ..

SoMuchToBits · 18/12/2019 13:30

@soupforbrains I'm in Suffolk...

@ForalltheSaints I think Playmoland must be in a different time zone! Xmas Wink They're not really drinking gluhwein for breakfast!

OP posts:
soupforbrains · 18/12/2019 15:13

Nothing wrong with Gluwein for breakfast! Grin

It's christmas after all!

openupmyeagereyes · 18/12/2019 15:31

When I was in Stockholm in December they served glogg with the breakfast buffet! Wine

Katinski · 18/12/2019 18:57

Birmingham City Centre they're on the glogg from about 10.30am. How do I know? errrr...someone told meWink
Playmo land, bet the sparkly stuff will be served in those large blue glasses, and that Norm will have a glass in one hand and his teamug in the other.....but will it be filled with tea?....hmmm...ho!ho!ho!

SoMuchToBits · 18/12/2019 19:59

Haha, well Christmas Day they will likely be on the blue wine before 6.30am - as that's when I will need to leave home to go to work, and will have to post by then! Xmas Grin
