Toddler Little dish stored in cupboard!! Emergency!!

Hi,

I accidently stored my child's little dish meals in the cupboard. When I took it out today to check heating instructions is when I realized that I should have stored this in the fridge. I have 3 packets. I confused them for the hipp organic cupboard one's.
Are they all spoiled now?

How hot is your kitchen?

gokartdillydilly · 30/11/2019 13:54

I wouldn't risk it with a baby

It's not that hot..it's a bit warm since I turn the heater on in the living room and did some cooking yesterday..but the pot is in room temperature to touch

Yes, high risk food (ready to reheat or ready to eat, or food that requires refrigerated storage) should only be out of temperature control for a maximum of 4 hours.

Sorry

How old is your child? Can you give them something else?

Elsakim · 30/11/2019 13:56

Ohh that's sad. 3 packets gone to waste then.

She's about a 1 and a half year old...yes I can give something else.. Just that I'm not well myself and did not have the energy to cook.. So thought about giving this instead

Not worth the risk. And I’m generally pretty blasé about this sort of thing.

Elsakim · 30/11/2019 14:24

Ok thanks everyone. Tossed it. Don't want to risk my child's health

Oh no. I hope you feel better soon.

Defiantly not worth risk just as well you realised before giving to your child .

P1nkHeartLovesCake · 30/11/2019 15:47

If your not well just give the child beans on toast or similar, very quick meal to make
