Has anyone been? We have 24 hours in London on 2nd January before we fly off on holiday and it's something we're considering. Any other suggestions of things to do are welcome. No kids in tow.

Troy exhibition at British Museum as an alternative? Have been eyeing up both!

A friend of mine went & raved about it

We've got tickets in Feb - not much help to you I guess Smile other than to say we also got tickets for my parents - great Christmas present idea if you're close to London!

I went with my mum and it is beautiful. I am lucky enough to have seen the treasures in Egypt, but the way they are presented at the Saatchi is just stunning.
Only downside was that it was extremely busy and there was lots of queueing, even with pre booked tickets. However we did go on the 3rd day after opening so hopefully things will have died down now.

Oh it sounds good. The Troy exhibition looks great too. My husband has seen the treasures in Egypt during his backpacking days and said it was an incredible exhibition. Husband also wants to go to Ronnie Scott's in the evening. Hoping for a late night so we sleep on the daytime long haul the next day.

We're hoping the weather doesn't get in the way, particularly our flight from North of Scotland 😬

I went last night and it was amazing. Did the after 8pm viewing, so it wasn't at all crowded.

Unfortunately the latest time we can get on 2nd Jan is 16:30, would have loved a later showing.

It is brilliant (though I didnt realise the blue/gold mask isnt allowed out of Eygypt)

We had tickets for 1.30, got there at 1pm and got in about 1.45. We tried to hold back to the end of our session but quickly realised another one was being let in. Ended up spending two hours in there I was determined to read all the displays

My friend is in an Egyptology group and she said it was a fab exhibition.
