Night out in Newcastle - where should we go?!

Going on a girls shopping trip to Newcastle next weekend and will have the Sat night out. Any recommendations about where to go for a nice meal and a good laugh?!! We like a drink and to have fun!

We are in our 40s/50s now and I enjoyed many a night out on the Bigg market in my youth!

Start at the Botanist!

I'd go to Grey Street. Everything you need in a small area. Lady Grey, Harry's, Bar Luga etc. Lots of chain places but I'd eat in Dabawal - amazing Indian style street food opposite the Bachus

Cosy Joes. It stinks, but the karaoke bar is some of the best fun I’ve ever had. The place really REALLY stinks though.

The Alchemist is fun for drinks.
