Hello, what non-tomato vegan Christmas Dinner mains would you recommend? (either bought or recipe).

I made the mushroom Wellington and gravy from the bosh cookbook last year - it was delicious.

Any other recommendations?

Lentil loaf (with or without nuts)

M&S and Waitrose both have vegan options in their Christmas range as well if you want to get something readymade instead.

Peppers roasted slowly (probably sweetfire) in a terracotta dish with garlic and a bit of balsamic or even sherry but not much, with black olives added near the end. I might be tempted to add some chestnuts with the olives. Bit like stuffed peppers, but not.

I'd be happy with some nicely roasted veg. Something with sweet potato or squash.

This is a bargain. Iceland have got a vegan nut roast thingy for £2.50 (feeds one hungry adult, or two not so hungry people - will depend on other available veg) which is also palm oil free.

You could bung it in the oven when there's a bit of space near the end, if you're cooking loads of other things as well.
