Where can I get cheap (naice) jars for my Xmas pickled onions please?

Pickling tomorrow and no jars to be had!

I thought someone had said Poundland so I tried there. Nowt, although our local one is on the smallish side.
I could go to Wilko, B&M or another Poundland tomorrow - any ideas?

My mate had some lovely fluted ones that I quite fancied and were big enough to make an impact (a vinegary one).

Sometimes it’s cheaper to buy v cheap jam and empty it out....

Wilko?
Poundland?
B&M’s/Home Bargains?

DarrellMakepeace · 26/11/2019 22:43

@Longdistance thanks but those are the three I already mentioned in my post, I was hoping for a little more specific guidance...

Amazon - might be too late to get them by tomorrow, but they have great looking hexagonal ones.

Oops! Sorry Blush shouldn’t be watching crappy politics on tv whilst MNing.

Hobbycaft? I’ll shut up now.

ELM8 · 26/11/2019 22:51

Homesense if you have one near you...

TheFlis12345 · 26/11/2019 22:51

I get them from Poundland but if you haven’t had any joy there, Wilko, Hobbycraft and Robert Dyas near me always have them. Sometimes TKMaxx as well but that’s hit and miss.

ELM8 · 26/11/2019 22:51

Or Dunelm

DarrellMakepeace · 26/11/2019 22:53

I tried TKMaxx and ended up in a trance sniffing candles

They do have many jars but they all have things in 'em

Hobbycraft you say?

Lakeland. But not particularly cheap.

DarrellMakepeace · 26/11/2019 22:59

I have perused the Hobbycraft website and it seems they stock all thing jar-y. Not too pricey either.

I will hie me there tomorrow, there's one a mile or so away.

Thanks all!
