It was down near St Paul's square. Can't remember exact street.

Last time I was there was about 9-10 years ago. Pretty sure it's gone now.

Quirky, psychedelic kinda themed music bar.

Subterranean.

Has a weird name.

Not much to go on I know but it's driving me and DP crazy!!

🍷

Nation of Shopkeepers?

ChateauneufDuTwat · 26/11/2019 21:18

No, wrong end of town and Nation is still going strong I think.

Thanks though.

Do you mean St Peters Square? Or St Paul’s Street?

If it the first, Wardrobe?

The second...racking my brains tbh I last went there circa the late 80s 😩

ChateauneufDuTwat · 26/11/2019 21:45

Not Fab but oh how I miss Fab 😩.

I'm fairly certain it was on St Paul's street, behind Park Square?

Leeds isn’t short of wanky named bars so that bit isn’t much of a clue admittedly

Shannith · 26/11/2019 21:52

Aghhhhh I think I remember it from years ago. Sold lots of beers. Hop something. Music something.... if I close my eyes I can see it.

Now I'm going to be driven mad.

Shannith · 26/11/2019 21:54

North bar?

Simkin · 26/11/2019 21:55

Was it the Elbow rooms?

Shannith · 26/11/2019 21:57

Elbow rooms was pool.

Does anyone remember the faversham?

Or Columbia at the Warehouse on a Wednesday night (I ran that)

kierenthecommunity · 26/11/2019 21:58

Why are people saying bars that are miles away from Park Square? 😂

Shannith it wasn’t on St Paul’s Street but you’re post has made me remember Music Factory with some fondness Smile

kierenthecommunity · 26/11/2019 22:00

Loved the Fav too Smile

KatyaZamolodchikova · 26/11/2019 22:01

Not Carpe Diem? It isn’t St Paul’s street or park square but it was the other side of the town hall so not far away. Ticks the subterranean box. Maybe too close to Nation though?

Darkrainbow · 26/11/2019 22:03

Baby jupiter?

BeamerTown · 26/11/2019 22:08

As a student I used to work at the Faversham! And the HiFi (same owners). Are you thinking of Mint Bar?

maidenover · 26/11/2019 22:08

I remember the Faversham - many good nights spent in there, many many years ago.

ChateauneufDuTwat · 26/11/2019 22:08

It was Baby Jupiter!!!

On York Place not St Paul's, once I realised my mistake I found it pretty easily on google!

Some Leeds bar nostalgia as a thank you.
