Think of all the people you know do any of them, who are also nice people, never look nice?
I've never, ever looked at a person I don't know and thought they're ugly/ have wonky features, shouldn't have nice things because they're not a stick insect. I have known people I previously thought were attractive become very ugly but that's when you get to know them.
Things that I think make people look nicer, holding head up - think reading the over counter menu at McDonald's rather than chin to chest staring at naval, shoulders square, clothes that fit (it doesn't matter what the hidden size tag says), clothes that the wearer is comfortable in (fidgeting and pulling top up/ down, constantly twisting stuff is not a good look), a smile.
I'm at my biggest at present (size 18-20), I will do something about it again but right now I'm just recovered fro a few months with a seriously dodgy hip, manically busy and I'm over eating and over drinking. I still make an effort. I wash my hair, try to do something with it, put a basic layer of makeup on, wash and iron my clothes. I walk tall, I think it helps.
