Have you seen any on your travels?
I could swear I saw some recently in the supermarket but now it's nowhere to be found. Amazon and myamericanmarket.com both have it but both the shipping and the item itself are expensive.

I've seen it in the American section in Tesco before

LadyMonicaBaddingham · 25/11/2019 18:41

I got some in Sainsburys quite recently.

HarveySchlumpfenburger · 25/11/2019 18:42

Tesco have it

LadyMonicaBaddingham · 25/11/2019 18:43

Try Sainsburys. I got some there quite recently.

LivingDeadGirlUK · 25/11/2019 18:43

Waitrose do it.

AndNoneForGretchenWieners · 25/11/2019 18:45

Ocado, Asda or Tesco in the world food section.

katy1213 · 25/11/2019 18:46

Sainsbury's for £1. I saw it a couple of days ago. Waitrose were low on stock this year.

quickkimchi · 25/11/2019 19:09

Thanks.
Have been to local Tesco and Waitrose today and neither have it. Tesco had stocked it but were sold out and in Waitrose they told me they don't stock it.
I realise the reason I'm not finding it online is because I've been looking for a specific brand (Libby's). A bit Hmm about using Baking Buddy (??) but it might be the only option.

FlamingoAndJohn · 25/11/2019 19:09

Ocado usually have it.

FattyCutty · 25/11/2019 19:49

Ocado sell 2 brands which are both good but don't have Libbys at the moment .

Janaih · 25/11/2019 19:50

Waitrose sell it. is it for a poorly cat?

Janaih · 25/11/2019 19:51

sorry I guess you're making thanksgiving dinner!

Shelley54 · 25/11/2019 19:52

I buy Libby's from Ocado in September - not Much help to you now but maybe for next year?

Majorcollywobble · 25/11/2019 19:54

@Janaih
Is it good for a poorly cat ?

Bellisima234 · 25/11/2019 19:56

If you are in London I saw it in the window of a cafe/general store on Hampstead High Street the other week but can’t remember for the life of me the name of the store.

Majorcollywobble · 25/11/2019 19:57

You can substitute the flesh of two sweet potatoes for a tin of pumpkin

AquaBaba · 25/11/2019 19:59

Definitely Waitrose, have seen it, and even bought in the past to make a pie.

quickkimchi · 25/11/2019 20:57

Janaih lol, not for a cat but in the past I've used it for a dog with diarrhoea. We''re going out for Thanksgiving dinner - no leftovers - so I'd quite like to have a pie at home just to remind me what time of year it is.
Shelley Aqua I think I saw it in Waitrose in September. It made me complacent! I didn't buy it because I thought ok great, I'll get that next time I'm in.
Majorc butternut squash too.

Amazon

Janaih · 25/11/2019 21:15

@Majorcollywobble yes vet recommended it when my cat had a poorly tum. must be tinned not fresh though.

30to50FeralHogs · 25/11/2019 21:20

I’ve ordered it from Tesco online previously. They didn’t have any so they sent me blueberry juice as a substitute Confused. I’m guessing because it was in the American section!

I’ve seen it on Amazon too, you can get 3 cans for about £10 I think. More expensive than supermarket but for convenience and to save you schlepping around everywhere looking for it, probably worth it.

NB The reviews for the one I was going to buy said a lot of the cans were dented so I didn’t buy it in the end, and just made pecan pie instead! But I do miss pumpkin pie so might buy some for next week.

TowelNumber42 · 25/11/2019 21:23

Waitrose, Ocado, Tesco and the local deli round here.

MrsFionaCharming · 25/11/2019 21:45

I got mine in Sainsbury’s today, Baking Buddy brand. Tesco was out of stock.

Followed the pie recipe on the side of the tin, which started with ‘buy a premade pie case’ 😂

quickkimchi · 25/11/2019 22:19

30to50 on Amazon they're £5.50 ea + £5 delivery! Funny about the 'blueberry juice'. Tesco now only seem to stock American stuff I've never seen anyone consume. I asked a manager about pumpkin and he mentioned they made a huge loss on the American section. I'm not surprised really, there was no sign on the aisle so I found it by accident, and there's nothing there anyone would want to buy.
Towel have just emailed a local deli that might have it.
MrsFiona what's the point of premade pie crust?! Grin
