Is there anything in particular that's making you feel this way ? Have you sought help or talked to anyone ? This is the first step.

Spied · 24/11/2019 16:43

Very unlikely.
In the depths of anxiety and depression I thought it was ludicrous to think I'd ever feel happy.
One year later and I'm a different person in all honesty. And I still feel I'm evolving.
I think at times we feel stuck but in hindsight things are constantly shifting.
Small steps.
What are the factors that are making you feel this way?

Sorry to jump on your post OP. Sounds like you're not ok, but hope reaching out and getting some good advice on here will help. Well, help you help you.
@Spied thank you for your post, I'm having a very bad few days and wonder if I'll ever be happy. The back cloud does indeed make you forget that you were, and will likely be again.

You will feel better, everything passes.

There are various things that are making me incredibly unhappy. I have reached out for help. I have just been so sad for so long I am wondering now, on a Sunday night when I am alone, if this is my life now, forever.

I feel the same. It doesn’t help when you see other people’s lives full of fun and meaning.

KellyHall · 24/11/2019 18:59

If you don't get the help you need or actively make changes to your life, there's no reason why it would change.

Try building things in to your life to feel better about yourself.

Are you physically able? Could you give yourself a target of running/cycling/swimming/walking a particular distance in a given length of time? When was the last thing you did something that excited or scared you? Do you belong to any clubs or societies?
