Was this a sign of going into labour?

Currently 36 weeks pregnant with DC2. Think I'm just abit paranoid as DH has had to go on a business trip till Wednesday. He is 3 hours drive so hopefully would make it back if anything did happened but still Confused.
Didn't want to say in the title as sorry if it's tmi. But I feel extremely heavy down below and have backache in my lower back/tail bone. I literally feel like DC is right there ready to come out. I am also needing the toilet suddenly a lot more. Has anyone else felt like this? Was this a sign for that labour was going to happen in the next few days?

I felt like this for the last 5 weeks of pregnancy!

I think it just means baby is engaged in your pelvis.

Had this too, sadly lasted 4 weeks! Couldn't walk more than 20 steps towards the end because it literally felt like the baby's head could fall out any second (haha though if only so easy!)
