How do clarks measure adult feet?

Dd 17 is horrified at the thought of having her feet measured on the kids sizing machine. Do they have an adult measuring thing? She has narrow feet that are still growing but may need children's shoes.

I used to work there and we had a large hand measure plus a digital one that you just stepped on (it’s for kids mostly but I had a few adults use it).

Dd is 12 with huge feet. They managed to measure her at a size nine quite happily with the same sort of thing they use for children but with adult sizes.

Hi, my daughter is a size 7.5 or 8 adult size depending where I buy, when I had her measured at clarks they said she is size 6 because her feet are narrow! I don't know where she is meant to put the length of her feet Shock so I'm going with they measure adults feet badly. Sorry if I upset anyone.

Since they changed to the iPads they measure all feet badly I find.

They have an adult version, tell her not to worry as it’s good getting it done instead of guessing. I got mine measured in the children’s dept (with my child I hasten to add) in September to be told I had wide feet and one wider than the other, not my best moment but it was funny.
