My teeth ache just thinking about it.

It's currently reduced to £45!

FuzzyPigeon · 22/11/2019 18:00

They're cheaper in B and M

wineoclockthanks · 22/11/2019 18:00

But is it one huge bar? Or is it a big box with lots o little ones inside it?

Gingernaut · 22/11/2019 18:38

It's FOUR AND A HALF KILOS!

Who cares?

wineoclockthanks · 22/11/2019 19:55

It's one huge bar Piglet and that's (sort of) my point, how on earth can you eat it? I feel my teeth wobble when I try and bite a normal size bar.

hammer and chisel?

PigletJohn · 22/11/2019 20:07

p.s.

you aren't meant to bite the bar. you can suck it, or snap the triangles off by pinching the end one towards its neigbour.

Nubbled · 22/11/2019 20:09

But is it the dark chocolate bar? 😋

Diy2019 · 22/11/2019 20:34

I saw this a while ago and thought it must have been a mistake, don't think I could justify spending 45 on a chocolate Hmm

Diy2019 · 22/11/2019 20:35

Piglet it's one 78cm length toblerone

Doggodogington · 22/11/2019 20:37

It’s in Home Bargains for that price, reduces from £75.

Eckhart · 22/11/2019 20:39

I wish I didn't know about this. I already have a Toblerone problem.

Eckhart · 22/11/2019 20:41

My dog is only slightly heavier than this chocolate bar!

Passthecherrycoke · 22/11/2019 20:43

Oooo

newtb · 22/11/2019 20:45

I knew someone who really loved them and her DH bought her one of the big ones for Christmas. So, after her Christmas dinner she had a chunk of it and dislocated her jaw and had to go to a+e.

Heaven knows what would happen with a 4.5kg one!

ColdRainAgain · 22/11/2019 20:50

I dont know how much it weighed, but many many years ago, my Dad got a enormous toblerone at Christmas. It was indeed a hammer and chisel job to get it into suckable sized pieces. We were eating toblerone for ages (and Dad and I are chocolate fiends)

Monstermoomin · 22/11/2019 20:51

Oh god this is making me wish I wasn't currently dairy free for breastfeeding. Christmas is the worst when you can't have dairy

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 22/11/2019 21:01

What's the Best Before Date ? (asking for a friend , obvs) Xmas Wink

Glittergirl30 · 22/11/2019 21:04

It’s the beat thing you will ever have! It is a lot of effort to get a chunk but it’s never ending its amazing! Get it!!!

FOJeremy · 22/11/2019 21:07

I bought one for DH last year. It wasn’t as big as I though it’d be.

Justkeeprollingalong · 22/11/2019 22:42

@Monstermoomin I'm derailing the thread but why are you being dairy free for breastfeeding?
I hope Santa brings me a giant Toblerone 🎅🏽

Doggodogington · 23/11/2019 16:15

justkeeprolling I’m guessing that her child has an intolerance. My friend had to go dairy free, if she ate or drank anything with milk products in (even some processed ham) then her dc would start spewing green froth. She had to add it gradually back into her dcs diet and dc was fine by the time she was 2.

LyingWitchInTheWardrobe2726 · 23/11/2019 18:02

That is the weight of a kettlebell! ShockGrin

Monstermoomin · 25/11/2019 12:45

@Justkeeprollingalong @Doggodogington yes, she has a cow's milk protein allergy which triggers her eczema badly and affects her sleep, irritable etc. So dieticians have said to exclude and will start introducing when she is nearly 1, so a looong time to be chocolate free (and cheese but that's a whole other story)
