… that are not cheesy or overly sentimental!
I have to prepare a course of poems for new students. Many poems we have covered explore classic themes of war/ power/ loss/ nature etc - a lot of them are cover horrific or important issues that need exploring.
However, I would like to find things that are celebratory/ uplifting etc as well as these ones - not just love poems etc.
Any help appreciated!
