Is bluestone at Christmas worth the money?

I mean the holiday resort in Tenby.

We've just been on a midweek break for the first week of the Christmas activities. It was really great - we were two families with 3 under 4s and paid 300 per family for Monday-Friday. I would definitely recommend, the Christmas activities were fun and went down well with the kids and the general facilities had all we needed. I think it was much more expensive for the full week which is why we stuck to midweek.

How old are your DCs?

Is it a Christmas weekend or the day itself? I've done both.

Just a 7 year old and it’s would be before Christmas

GreenButterlfy - yes I remember the weekends were ridiculous when we were looking to book. I'm not sure I'd personally pay £800 for a weekend - you could do lots and lots of Christmassy activities with a 7 year old over a weekend for much less money...

LetsPlayDarts · 21/11/2019 12:52

If your finances allow, I'd do it.

I went when mine were 4 and 6. They loved it.

It feels super christmassy and the activities are great. Plus, there was an afternoon where we went to an elf kingdom and mine just loved it.

I'm not sure if you're familiar with the area but the beaches are beautiful for a winter walk. Plus, the lodges are like a home from home and you tend to self cater. Theres also a nice Chinese restaurant in Narberth that you can collect a takeaway. We recently did Butlins and whilst the accommodation was cheaper, its geared for you to spend LOTS of cash.

Tentative - thanks. I really don’t know what to do and worry that he’ll be to old next year 😐

Let play - it sounds lovely
