Baby's long hair at night

My 6 month old has long thick hair, with a fringe down past her nose. I clip it to the side in the day, but it gets in her way at night. Her hair isn't quite long enough to tie back off her face and it would be a choke hazard to leave clips in her hair all night. Is there a way to keep it out of her face that I'm not thinking of?? (other than cutting it, as in the long run it's more practical to grow it out!) I've tried hats and she just pulls them off!

Could it plait at all?

Can’t you tie up the fringe to the top of her head? Even if she ends up looking like a teletubbie I think it would help...

Also this is the baby name page..

Gel it into a Mohawk style for bedtime

I would cut her fringe & plait the rest using product to keep the ends together rather tan bands

But actually as long as it’s clean & brushed (no knits to tangle her fingers in, she’ll just brush it off her face in her sleep.

Hi OP

We're just moving this over to chat for you. Flowers

DD’s hair was the same and we just made a little pony tail on top of her head out of the fringe, as suggested above. I do think it’s uncomfortable for them to have it in their face as they don’t have the coordination to brush it off like we do. And if they have a perma-cold, then it gets stuck in the snot on their face! Sad
