Want to rent but I have a bad credit score (255) help!

Me and my partner are having to move out of the property we are currently renting off his dad as he is having to move back in now we need to find somewhere else to rent but my credit score isn’t great. Am I going to have a problem renting? Terrified I won’t be able to carry on living with my partner :(

You'll face issues as letting agents will credit check.

We are landlords and we have never checked a credit score, I’m sure there are a lot like us. We advertised our flat on gumtree.

Why is your score so low?
Have you defaulted on debts?
Have got many DDs?
What's your joint income vs the market rate?

Student flats have guarantors, normally parents, maybe this is a general thing. Do you have anyone who would be willing?
