What to do about Mothercare purchase?

We brought a cot bed over a month ago with Mothercare- we used Klarna to do it over 3 payments, klarna took first payment when it was meant to be delivered which was the day Mothercare went into administration.

Issue being we haven't seen the cot bed, it's not turned up, tried to cancel with Mothercare they said they had to speak to klarna to get our first payment refunded and we haven't been able to get anywhere! Payment was £80 it was paid on Credit card.
We are worried the second payment is gonna be taken and we will be £160 down the drain.

Any suggestions?

I was under the impression all deliveries were still being made as normal as it says so on the site, I would personally go into mothercare and speak to them face to face, a similar thing happened to me with mama and papas as my car seat didn’t turn up so I went in and they just gave me one they already had in stock in store. So if they have it they may well just give you it there and then. As for klarna, you can speak to them with online chat and they can delay payments until the issue has been resolved, they will also inform you whether they can process the refund or if they need mothercare to do it first. Hope this helps!

Isn’t your credit card company jointly liable? Section 75 rule. They may refund you.
