Here is another thread to discuss the PA interview and its repercussions.

On Fergie – she's not the Duchess of York any more in the sense that Andrew could remarry as if anyone would have him and the new wife would be the Duchess of York. Fergie is 'Sarah, Duchess of York' which denotes that she once was, but is no more. A sort of a courtesy which shouldn't be afforded, the gurning loon

Dora26 · 03/12/2019 12:49

On a very much lighter note -I couldn’t help last night for a second imagining Meghan going “phew! At last the spotlights off me - and for some real news”!!

SerendipityJane · 03/12/2019 13:15

Fergie is 'Sarah, Duchess of York'

Technically Duchess Emerita of York Grin

Emerita?

Bloody hell, not much merit in evidence there Grin

I hated it in the PA interview when he talked pizza and said it's always been a family rule that one of us was there for the children and 'the Duchess' was away. FFS call her by her name.
Calling her the Duchess is crass and reminds me of Jimmy Saville. He always called his mother 'Duchess'.

EcocabbyRickShaw · 03/12/2019 14:26

Yeah. It's the same as that old story by Jenny Bond when she said she asked him, at the Windsor Castle fire, how his mother was bearing up. And he said 'Do you mean her majesty the Queen?"

Utter entitled knob

AnyMinuteNow · 03/12/2019 16:24

I stand with VG, despite some discrepancies (she said she knew she'd have to sleep with PA at the point she was dancing at tramps with him, but then said she was told in the car home that she would have to, maybe she 'just knew this would be inevitable', and some other inaccuracies).

Whats obvious is a man such as JE has not done this in isolation, and all those who know, or complicit in it (if they know and don't report it they are complicit in it) need rooting out, revealing and charging, on the world stage just how many men are involved.

Such young girls on board, or at a party sureky raises the question amongst adults as to whether guests have brought their children along!!! Or whether guests children were invited!!!

It was so normal to them as to not be remarkable.

The filthy fuckers, all of those who didn't even speak out.

Its been reported previously, and its all been hidden

Who's hiding still?

Its more than PA and this civil suit.

Clinton, trump, all those connected with him, his parties were full of them.

SunsetBoulevard3 · 03/12/2019 16:35

I wonder if PA is worried someone will bump him off?

I am genuinely worried for VG and other victims' safety.

Maybe GM too.

I hope they are properly protected and enabled to sing like canaries for the world to hear.

ColonelCathcart · 03/12/2019 18:23

I know the DM has a lot of faults but at least it’s prepared to cover this sort of stuff.

Agreed. I’m no Mail fan but it covers this kind of stuff much more than the Guardian.

betaboo · 03/12/2019 19:19

The photo of VR on the yacht and the other one with Naomi Campbell in the background, looks desperately sad. She looks so out of place, all the others in their designer finery and so much older than her, she so young, how could anyone not question the motives of JE and GM.

Sickening.

Pedallleur · 03/12/2019 21:54

A lawyer is now saying they have a woman who remembers Andrew being at Tramps the night of the pizza. We shall await further developments.

KimchiLaLa · 03/12/2019 22:08

Tramp. He kept calling it Tramps, likely because he wanted to sound like he just didn't know too much about the place.

AnyMinuteNow · 03/12/2019 22:28

A Lawyer Pedallleur?

Who exactly? Where have you got that from?

AnyMinuteNow · 03/12/2019 23:19

Oh good good!

Mner2019 · 03/12/2019 23:48

This whole thing is just horrendous. Those poor women/girls being dragged into this and the attitude of PA is unbelievable. I wasn’t too fussed about the RF before, quite liked them almost, but that we have funded him and his staff (including security personnel etc) is taking the piss.

The RF must do more than just hide him for a bit. Either it needs to respond properly, respect the laws of the land and apologise, or it needs to step down.

AhNowTed · 04/12/2019 02:00

@Pedallleur

So his excuse was he was at Pizza Express in Woking around 5pm.

Tramps opens at 10.30pm.

With my limited knowledge of traffic conditions around London, I'll take a wild guess and say this was eminently possible.

MissEliza · 04/12/2019 14:24

I'm sure he's lying about being at Tramp but I'm sceptical about a witness who claims to be certain she saw him on that specific date. Funny how no one who was at Pizza Express in Woking that night has come forward. You'd surely remember that one!

MillyMollie · 04/12/2019 17:14

I watched Panorama and call me naive but one question I wanted asked was why did the girls not just leave when they realised what J and G were up to ?

Moomin8 · 04/12/2019 17:39

It sounds as if GM was as much as a perpetrator as Epstein tbh.

Roussette · 04/12/2019 17:48

MillyMollie They were vulnerable. A lot of them had bad home lives. They were coerced. You must've heard VG. She wanted to leave an island.... how would she do that, swim?
They weren't chained up but they knew no different. Besides which it started off as extra money, and bit by bit it just got worse... being passed around to anyone. Your question is like asking why does anyone go into prostitution and have a pimp hiring you out. You know no different, that is your life. You don't want to be a prostitute, but your choices are nil.

AutumnCrow · 04/12/2019 17:49

I think 'just leave' is what people say when they're not understanding the abuse, the power imbalance, the vulnerability, the passport confiscations, the fear, the threats, MillyMolly

Roussette · 04/12/2019 17:51

Yes, Autumn that's what I wanted to say... power imbalance.

I do find it incredibly naive and to be honest gobsmacking when someone asks this.

Moomin8 · 04/12/2019 17:54

Also, the girls were all groomed.
