Has anyone still claimed their childcare vouchers whilst on maternity leave? How does this affect your maternity pay please?

Your employer pays it as they are unable to make deductions from your maternity pay

I did it.

I thought it had been stopped recently. But could be wrong of course.
Op please check up to date sources before committing.

Where I work you carry on getting whatever you got before but as there isn't a salary it's free.

If it's the old style childcare vouchers, you still get them on top of SMP, or at least I did several years ago.

Thanks everyone -it is the old style but it seems to vary on employer so I will have to double check with mine.
