Dyson stick vacuum - could anyone do a quick measurement for me?

I’m thinking of getting a Dyson stick vacuum but have only got a narrow space I can store it in.

I’m going round in circles trying to find a measurement online for how far it sticks out from the wall when it’s in the wall mount. Can’t find the info anywhere.

Would anyone with one and a tape measure be able to have a quick measure of it for me?!

I have a Dyson V7 which is wall mounted.

When in the recharging mount it sticks 8.5" out from the wall.
However when removing/inserting the Dyson into this mount you will need far more clearance to allow you to manipulate the machine in and out.
