Fretting.
So got up to do some of the work morning I’m fretting about, but got distracted with fire/ coffee/ mn.

babbi · 17/11/2019 06:25

I’m in Venice and am excited to get up and about to enjoy the sunrise 🌅
Hoping the water levels have dropped a bit to make more areas accessible.
Have a good day all

Visiting MIL. She lives alone so we're on the sofa bed in her living room. She left her phone on charge in the living room and it went off with a notification about an hour ago. She apologised profusely and scuttled off but then I needed to pee and here we are Hmm

custardbear · 17/11/2019 06:29

I'm a lark - usually awake 5am ish ... will watch a film I think as DC AND DH won't be up for hours

BiteyShark · 17/11/2019 06:30

I wake up early (5am) as this is the time I get up for work in the week and my brain won't change just for the weekend. Whilst awake I am not 'up' as having a cuppa and surfing MN in bed.

Squeakybubbles26 · 17/11/2019 06:32

DD2 thought 5am was a good time to practise her dinosaur noises (she's 4months)!
DD1 will be up soon - prob soon as DD2 decides she's tired and wants to go back to bed again zzzzzz.

UhareFouxisci · 17/11/2019 06:34

I was having a nice dream and then in the dream my eldest came and jumped on me announcing that it is now 7am (this is how I am normally informed in non-dream circumstances).

I was in a semi-dream state for a few minutes where I realised that had been a dream event not a real event and I needed to decide whether to wake up properly or try to sleep more. I was curious about whether it was actually 7:00. It was actually 5:48 but I needed the loo and DH is snoring louder than earplugs can block so I can't be arsed to try sleeping any more.

blackcat86 · 17/11/2019 06:34

Awake with toddler DD who thought she was being murdered at 11pm. I've ended up sleeping in the spare bed with her. Its lovely and I try to treasure those moments but its hard to sleep with her shuffling and snuffling about. Then up just before 6am. Not an issue as I woke at 3:30am and couldn't get back to sleep.

Galvantula · 17/11/2019 06:44

2/3 DC been throwing up all night. Almost zero sleep. Send coffee or something....

GiveHerHellFromUs · 17/11/2019 06:44

DD has decided for the last week or so that 4:48 is the appropriate time to wake up.

MrsJonesAndMe · 17/11/2019 06:57

Oh no @galvantula

Enjoy Venice @babbi

Partly because the alarm goes off at 5 during the week, partly stress - both bad (expensive dental treatment pending) and good (long distance flight next week)

EleanorReally · 17/11/2019 07:05

my ddog woke me, yesterday i woke up at 5.30, so today, about 5.45, i tried to get back to sleep but failed.

Amys136 · 17/11/2019 07:08

Up with the baby. She’s been having awful sleep recently but did a huge block of sleep last night. Only downside was she was up at half 5 but she’s gone back asleep now so I’m watching queer eye

Minniemagoo · 17/11/2019 07:08

DH just left to take DS to a competition 2 hrs away. I was hoping to go too but DD has ASD and has a bad week so it's less stressful if we stay. Feel bad for not being there for DS.

moleeye · 17/11/2019 07:09

8 month old wakes at 5am EVERY SINGLE DAY. And goes back down for a nap about 90 mins after waking at which point the 5 year old gets up.

Going to wallop the OH round the head with a pillow and tell him to drag himself out of bed and sort out her breakfast!

On the plus side I'm catching up on RuPaul's drag race 🙊

MrsJonesAndMe · 17/11/2019 15:30

Hope you've all managed to stay awake. I'm very tired now. We've been for a walk in a very muddy field, done homework and housework, shopping and prepped a roast. Now just quickly trying to finish a crochet square for Woolly Hugs.

@Minniemagoo that mum guilt of not being able to cut yourself in two is awful isn't it?
