Just that really. Got some of the teenagers in the family gift cards for Christmas as that’s what their parents suggested. I just think it’s a bit meh. How can I make it more exciting?

I wouldn’t risk a gift card. Given and received too many over the years that have not been used. Money and a note in a card would be better imo.

Insomniacscientist Sorry I should have said I’ve already purchased the gift cards. Just after a fun way to present them. I’ve gone for the all4one cards as wasn’t sure what to get.

You can get the gift card wallets in card factory... 10 for a £1.... So looks like a Christmas card but they are designed for Vouchers....

Or , u could make your own crackers and put them in one. Or a giant bauble or hidden in a box etc.... But all abit to much if card is for a lower amount i think

I give cash to teens, but I wrap it around a bar of Christmassy chocolate (Cadbury do a Christmas tree one) or a toblerone.

I like @Chimchar ‘s idea.

One year my mum bought "not cool" looking purses / wallets and put gift cards in them for teenage nieces and nephews. Turns out they didn't look inside them and spent Boxing Day looking in the bins for them.

I actually managed to get some little gift card boxes in Poundland. 3 for £1. Just in case anyone else was looking for ideas. Thanks everyone.
