What’s it really like living in a road with a primary school on it?

We’ve seen an amazing looking house just around the corner from where we live. The only downside I can see at the moment is that there is a primary school on the same road. The house has a driveway so parking for us should be ok but I’ll be driving down to my kids school at the same time lots will be dropping off/picking up in that road.
(No chance of my kids changing schools and going to this one.)
I know near my kids school, some people are inconsiderate parkers.
What are the other things I need to consider?

I've had no issues at all. No blocked drive at all.

I live near at the rear of a school so I have no issue with parking, noise is lovely as you hear kid's playing. As a child I grew up near the secondary school, my mother still talks about returning home to find a car parked on her driveway. She discovered it belonged to a start member who would always park on the drive, the neighbours reported the staff would park there daily after my parents went to work and believed this to be a pre arranged agreement

I really love living in a street between a big junior and infant school. We are about 200m from the junior playground and I hear the children playing if I sit in the garden, sometimes the school bell too. We have a hard standing and I make an effort to not drive from or to my house between 8.45 and 9am and then from 3.25-3.50pm. Pick up is much worse of course and people sometimes block my space, though not often as we have double yellows.

This mild inconvenience is more than compensated by seeing the families go past my door and feeling part of a community of many age groups. I like the sound of the kids playing in the playground and of course we don't have any issues at all with noise late at night, which I love.
