Did you sense your labour was coming?

Currently 35+2 with DC2 so ideally don't want to have baby for another two weeks at least. I had my DD at 38+5 but I was never felt like this with her. My bump has definitely dropped and the midwife confirmed baby was head down ready to go. I can feel quite abit of pressure and pulling pains (abit like a stitch) I'm assuming these could be braxton hicks.
Did anyone else feel like labour was pending and if so were you correct? Or do you think it's all in my head?

Not at all. I missed all the cues at 40 weeks. I had a period pain like ache and a show but it never occurred to me birth was imminent!

The sure sign for me was getting The Arse. Proper pissed off with everything! Baby within 24 hours. All mine were on or after their due date though so not much of a guess!

Nothing whatsoever, no Braxton hicks, no show, no waters breaking. I have had three precitous labours, the shortest being 45 minutes from first twinge to holding him in my arms. Everyone is different so asking won't help answer your question.

Watch the pulling sensation closely, mibe turned to a scraping, not enough space, that's quite ouchy having a baby pain quite quickly...but this was with 3rd.

The difference between Hicks and real is delivering a baby, it's rarely a 'sense,' usually very clear tightening, pulling cramping that can only be described as contracting

No clue for any of mine.

No I was in labour 6 hours before I figured it out 🙄 luckily I had plenty of time as he took another 18 hours to emerge 🙈
