Anyone else got that horrible virus doing the rounds?

My family have been decimated by it.

DC1 got it almost 2 weeks ago (had a whole 5 days off school as he was so ill, very unlike him!). DC2 was hit a few days later. DP and I came down with it five days ago. Baby has managed to escape. Even MIL [who had the kids a few days a week] has taken a hit.

I've had proper flu and this isn't quite a bad but God we have been hit hard.

Anyone else afflicted?

They say misery likes company but I'm genuinely sorry to hear everyone is so poorly.

I'm not out of bed yet, so not sure how I feel but tummy is like a washing machine and my head hurts

If it wasn't for the kids, I'd not get out of bed. DP has agreed if I do the morning shift, I'll get nap privileges later!

About three weeks worth. Only a cold. Mainly a hacking cough and sneezing. I am not used to having colds! I never get them or if so it is for 24hr only. Every Christmas when I joined the family, they would all have right stinkers and I was never affected!
