Been treated for heartburn for a few months. Getting worse rather than better been on a very limited diet, worse than before my gallbladder came out. Now they think that my bile duct is blocked so am to have a scan. Anyone else had this?

I work in healthcare. It can happen that a small stone gets lodged in the common bile duct or the pancreatic duct gives awful pain even post surgery. A scan should find the issue if it's a rogue stone.

It has been 7 years since my op. I have had a few episodes of upset tummy when eating or drinking, this has gradually got worse not helped by a hiatus hernia hiding the symptoms. Two months of omeprazole has helped but highlighted the pain in my right side and back. I am so fed up and worrying will I have to have further surgery.
