Is anyone a chauffeur or know someone who is ?

I'm asking for the lovely DH of a friend who keeps applyig but getting no where .

He has worked for many years and is still working in a role where he does a lot of driving at all hours .

Any advice on how to get a foot in the door ?

I would be so grateful for advice .

What sort of chauffeur? A private chauffeur employed by an individual or company or one working for a limo company and sent out for weddings/hen nights etc?

My dad was a chauffeur for a limo company for a few years mostly doing weddings as well as other pick ups for people who wanted a luxury experience rather than an ordinary car. He got the job through being known from his part time mini-cabbing as a reliable and very polite driver who could be trusted with an expensive car in heavy traffic. It was only ever a top up income though and he did other jobs as well. It also meant a Saturday off was very rare.
