What events are you doing for Xmas with the kids?

Tulleys Farm at Christmas best hayride!

We're going to London for 3 nights until the 23rd. The plan is to go to Winter Wonderland, see the lights on Oxford Street, visit Hamley's and we have tickets to see Wicked. I lived most my adult life in London so I am glad our children are old enough to do this now.

Breakfast with Santa
Christmas markets
Village & local towns christmas lights switch on - we try and do all the villages round us that we can
I take my DDs on a drive to look at the Christmas lights on houses after school one day too, some of the places round us put on a really good show!

Forgot some:

Crib service at local church
Take chocolates to the fire station, police & ambulance on Christmas Eve.

We've just come back from an expensive holiday so I'm trying not to pay for many Christmas events this year. We will use our Beamish passes for their Christmas celebrations. Cragside is beautiful too this time of year.

We've booked a pub which is always great with a Santa visit, balloon modeling, pony rides for the cost of the meal and also bizarrely I've booked santa breakfast at IKEA too!

DH is supposed to be taking DS on the Santa Special steam train but I don't think he's booked it yet
