Feel-good inspirational film

Have an afternoon to myself at home and fancy watching a film. Have been a bit low so would like something feel-good and inspirational to lift my spirits.

Your suggestions please! I have Netflix and Amazon prime but also happy to pay for a film on Amazon if there are any good suggestions!

Not a film, but have you watched Queer Eye More Than a Makeover on Netflix? The first 3 series are AMAZING and the most uplifting, feel-good things I've ever seen!

The most recent Japanese series isn't as good (IMO) so just watch the first ones.

No, I haven't seen those Anuvva, but uplifting and feel good sounds like just what I need. Will have a look to see if it's what I fancy!

A wonderful French film called Les Untouchables, watch it with subtitles. A true story. You will be smiling by the end !

Hunt for the Wilderpeople. It's on Amazon but not prime.

Les Untouchables sounds great, will check that one out.

The pursuit of happyness is exactly the kind of film I had in mind Ilive, but I watched it again very recently so it's not one for today. It's one of my all-time favourites though.Smile

The Upside which is a true story

AlexaShutUp · 11/11/2019 13:50

Interesting. The Upside appears to be an English-language version of Les intouchables. They're obviously both worth a watch!

The Blind Side with Sandra Bullock.
Love this film, based on a true story and very inspirational.
