Kids plates that don't taste like dishwasher?

We have some silicone plates, and I know we really shouldn't put them in the dishwasher but who really has the time? Today I licked my fingers after picking some pasta off the plate and all I could taste was that horrible soapy dishwasher taste.

With a second one about to start weaning we could really do with some shatter proof, microwave and dishwasher safe kids crockery. Anyone have any suggestions please?

the ikea children's crockery is ok.
but tbh we used normal plates from about a year old

We have IKEA plates and cutlery too and haven't noticed that taste.

Another vote for ikea plastic plates. We have also used the ASDA ones that look similar to the ikea ones and they are fine if not a little smaller
