Mine are stuck on Lava and Rabbids Invasion, both of which are very squeaky and fast moving, drive me mad (I’m often in the kitchen and the family room is open onto it) and not helping with elder attention span. He is being assessed for ADD so I’m keen to find something a bit calmer.

They did love Little Lunch and have watched it to death. Elder one also watched A Series of Unfortunate Events.

My 9 year old is currently fixated on Full House (Netflix).

ShinyGiratina · 10/11/2019 07:52

Mine like CITV and silly cartoons. When they outgrew CBeebies, CBBC was a bit old for them.
They mainly like Minecraft youtube tutorials though.

IsolaPribby · 10/11/2019 07:52

My DD is 9, and currently binge watching Horrible Histories. She also loves anything narrated by David Attenborough ie Blue Planet or the new Seven Worlds.

YouTube 🙄
Sometimes he watches nice calm things like this lad that goes lake diving and searching for treasure, other times it’s loud and annoying nonsense.

Would like some more ideas to tempt him with, following with interest.

Answerthequestion · 10/11/2019 07:55

My 9 year old has teenage siblings, you don’t want to know what he watches, suffice to say, it’s not what he should be watching.

When he does watch age appropriate things he still likes scooby doo, horrid Henry, full house and old episodes of strictly

KatyN · 10/11/2019 07:55

We’ve recently discovered odd squad on Netflix. I flipping love it!

Answerthequestion · 10/11/2019 07:56

He also watches lots of history stuff on YouTube especially about tudors and victorians. Also some family called Norris nuts

SheShriekedShrilly · 10/11/2019 07:57

Lots of Horrible Histories and Operation Ouch here, with a bit of Dangermouse, and How To Train Your. Dragon. But she only has access to iplayer, so that limits her choices.

PullingMySocksUp · 10/11/2019 07:58

Oh what’s the lake thing @BloodyCats ? Smile

I don’t know the name of the one he watches but there are loads on YouTube. They strap a go pro to their head and sift through stuff, it’s very relaxing! Also mudlarking is very similar and easy to watch.

SamsMumsCateracts · 10/11/2019 08:01

Mine love Odd Bods, Dangermouse, Bake Off, Horrible Histories (both the series and the game show).

MrsJakeLovell · 10/11/2019 08:01

My annoying YouTube video obsessed son has watched The Unlisted on Netflix and loved it.

LetticeFisher · 10/11/2019 08:02

mine watches loads of minecraft videos on youtube.

That and Glee on repeat.

I'd love her to watch Cbeebies or something like that!

welshpolarbear · 10/11/2019 08:03

As well as the minecraft videos on YouTube mine watches Teen titans and would all day of he was allowed.
Hilda is fab, and carmen sandiego went down well. All on Netflix.

Cbbc he likes Dengineers.
Also likes Ninja Warriors.

bakedtattie23 · 10/11/2019 08:05

Teen Titans Go
Odd Squad
Power Rangers

HeadBrickWall · 10/11/2019 08:07

DD7:
How to train your dragon
She-ra and the princesses of power (new favourite)

DS9 is not a fan of the above two but will watch them. They both like Geronimo Stilton and Absolute Genius. They also like Tintin (but DH is
French and reading them the books for bedtime at the moment)

I'd like to find them something a bit more educational as we're having real issues with DS in school at the moment and I'm not sure that the programs he watches are helping. Having said that, he is currently on a screen ban!

IggyAce · 10/11/2019 08:08

Teen titans go
Ninjago
Captain underpants

ahhgoongoongoonhaveacupoftea · 10/11/2019 08:18

They watch the disney app and some kids stuff on YouTube. We don't have an actual tv with channels Halloween Smile

Natsku · 10/11/2019 08:26

DD is 8. Apart from annoying youtuber playing computer games, she watches Creeped Out and Horrible Histories and nature documentaries.

Blueuggboots · 10/11/2019 08:30

ItsGoingTibiaK · 10/11/2019 08:32

HulksPurplePanties · 10/11/2019 08:39

happypotamus · 10/11/2019 08:41

Videos of people playing minecraft
Teen Titans Go, Scooby doo
Other stuff that's on cartoon network

Sunnysidegold · 10/11/2019 08:44

I have ds 7 and ds9. They like the inbestigators on Netflix and have also enjoyed the unlisted (I liked the story but thought the twin actors to be very wooden). On prime they loved gortimer gibbons life on normal street. They went through a phase of the thundermans and something called gameshakers. They enjoyed creeped out on CBBC. These were very ott and annoyed me so much! They were very American which I would have also loved at that age! They like mystery type things.
