Can anyone help me work this Holiday entitlement out loosely?!

I have just swopped from contracting to a permanent contract and I’m SO confused - I will check it out with work on Monday, but in mean time can any one help?!

I am contracted to work 25 hours a week - I am able to choose my hours as I wish, so I tend to do 6.5 hours a day over 4 days (ish, as obviously that is a bit over!)

At Christmas we get given 1/2 day on Xmas eve and a full days paid on Xmas day and Boxing Day - which are days I would generally have chosen to of worked if it is a normal week.

How will that work with my pay and holiday entitlement if I wanted to just take the Friday as holiday?!

I’m not sure I’ve explained that very well - if any one can make sense of my ramblings I would be really grateful!

So it will look like:

Mon - normal
Boxing Day - half day holiday given - I will go in for the “half” not given
Xmas day - given a days holiday paid
Boxing Day - given a days holiday paid
Friday - I want to take this as holiday

What holiday “hours” do I need to submit / deduct from my allowance if I do 25 hours a week?

I’m trying to plan my holiday for the year hence the sums!

It will be the difference to make your week up to 25 hours.

Would you not just be deducting 6.5hrs if that's what you normally work. Are the xmas/boxing day days taken out of your holiday entitlement too
