Lately I’m preferring YouTube to Netflix and Prime.

I particularly enjoy Jim Can’t Swim (a criminal psychology channel of interrogation videos and explanations)

I also love Christina Randall (she was in prison and has loads of fascinating videos about all sorts of things about prison life.

The final 24 is a channel about the last 24 hours in peoples lives (Britney Murphy, Anna Nicole Smith etc)

I also like some more lighthearted channels 😅

@FrivolousPancake
like yourself am too getting a bit bored with a Netflix and Now -I love all the crime shows - have been watching a lot of the Mafia / Jimmy Hoffa /Kennedy’s history ones on YouTube and the first 48 and similar YouTube is a seemingly never ending resource with minimal advertising (tolerable) for ‘Laugh Out Loud’ moments I watch ‘Awaken with JP’ he is genuinely hilarious - takes the piss out of California type new age bollox etc, so funny (but maybe just my sense of humour) it’s the sincere look on his face while he does it - don’t know how he does it 😂

Not my favourite channel but Wired has a series called Technique Critique and it's where experts break down scenes from film and tv. So a lawyer breaks down courtroom scenes, or a forensics detective breaks down scenes from shows like CSI and the like and they tell you what's accurate and what's not and why. It's really interesting to see how dramatised the tv is

I really like watching family vlogging channels, esp at Xmas. Il watch an hour long video of other families opening their Xmas presents lol
Also love abandoned videos, so ppl exploring abandoned mansions, malls etc - bright sun films, exploring with josh.
Also recently got into watching thrift store hauls and dumpster diving - stevensteph resale killers is one channel I love.

Jim can't swim. Wow. Watching now. The Chris Watts story. Thanks for the thread and following tips! I've exhausted so many crime shows now and have a refresh.

Markiplier, Laymen Gaming, they're gaming ones but I seriously would recommend Kurzgesgat. They work with scientists and researchers to make videos about different topics.
