If you are GF what takeaway do you enjoy?

I just can’t enjoy pizza etc from a normal takeaway any more. Chinese goes straight through me too.

What could I have that won’t leave me feeling like my guts are going to explode?

My husband is coeliac which means we've virtually given up takeaways for the reasons you describe.

Our go to is usually an Indian and DH has a tikka masala with boiled rice and poppadoms.

I don't have takeaways any ☹️
Pizza just isn't any good.
Nowhere near me does GF fish and chips.
Prawn toast and seaweed (though can have it without the stuff on the top) was the highlight of Chinese for me. Don't enjoy much else.
And I don't like Indian which is the only one that's amazing for GF! Other than poppadoms 😋

Curry, chicken shashlik kebab with salad no pitta, and you can get GF fish and chips from a lot of places now - theres a great FB group which lists them.
GF pizza from Dominos, Pizza Express or Pizza Hut

Rice or rice noodle dish from Wagamama.

I’m still new to looking out for gluten. How do I know which takeaway food will contain it, apart from pizza etc?
I love Chinese and used to eat it and put up with how uncomfortable it made me but it’s just painful now 👎🏻 I miss it!

Gluten free fish and Chips (some places even do GF sausages, curry sauce, gravy etc).

Dominoes and Pizza Hut. Bella Italia and Pizza Express. Nando's. All do takeaway that is GF.

Indian Restaurants.are usually the best bet. At some I can even have poppadoms and bhajjis if they change the oil.for me.

My nearest Chinese does limited GF. I can get a decent fried rice and seaweed from her but that's it.

DD is coeliac.
She gets a double cheeseburger no bun from McD's, and toasts a bun at home, plus the fries.
Pizza Hut, Pizza Express and Dominoes all do GF.
Indian minus the nairn is usually GF.
Waggas has a fairly extensive GF menu.

No ill effects so far.

We don't even attempt Thai, Korean or Chinese takeaways, we make our own versions GF.

Calling ahead and seeing if they are knowledgable about gluten, cross contamination and safe re Coeliac disease is obviously key. Chains have all their nutritional info online.
