Alternative to the new formula Nivea Lipbalm

I have used Nivea lipbalm for as long as I can remember (definitely pre-children and eldest is now 14 so at least 15 years+). They changed the formula a year or so ago and the new formula is absolutely disgusting. When I realised, I bought as many old formula tubes as I could find and have been using them up.

I ran out in August and since then have tried several different brands not taking to any of them. I eventually settled on Boots own brand (Packaging looks identical to Nivea) and while it was ok, my lips still weren’t great.

This week I found 1 last old formula Nivea in the back of a drawer and within a day of using it, my lips were totally revitalised and feel healthy for the first time in months.

I know I can’t buy any more, but am really not sure about going back to Boots own brand again.

Has anyone else found an as-good-as alternative?

(Must be in stick form)

I have used the tinted Nivea for years and it seems fine? No change.

Interesting. I normally used the pale blue one, or sometimes the dark blue one, never the tinted one. I wonder if they haven’t changed the formula for that one?

I use the original pink tinted one and its the same. The peach one seems a bit greasier
