Toolsters come hither... Help me choose a new drill

My trusty old Homebase cheapest just isn't cutting the mustard –or much else – in my new place, even on hammer setting.

The brickwork here is some sort of indestructible engineering block, very different from the soft yellow bricks I'm used to that you can make a hole in with your fingernail.

What do I need that will have a bit of welly? Especially given I'm not very strong and can't put a lot of weight behind it?

Or do I just need spanking new masonry bits for my elderly Homebase drill?

We have one of these I've used to go through brickwork, dense wooden beams and all sorts with great success.
I'd also recommend a new set of bits too if you don't have much strength, every little helps :)

Ooh, thank you.

I was going to ask how you found the keyless chuck, as having dodgy hands I usually like the leverage of key. Then I checked the reviews and almost all the bad ones are about chuck-failure.

Hmm.
