Possible hijack at Amsterdam Schiphol airport?

The BBC is reporting it as a suspicious situation but the airline pages I follow are full of comments about a possible hijack? Does anyone know if this is true?

I’ve just read the Dutch newspaper which said it appeared to be a high jacking but it was a false alarm. A crew member accidentally pushed a button that signalled an alarm. This happened as boarding was taking place.

An alarm was accidentally triggered everyone is safe.

Oh thank goodness!

My brother is there now meant to be boarding a plane tonight back to the UK after a few days in Amsterdam and they have all been kept in the airport terminal whilst it’s on lock down with military place guarding them. I’m Just waiting on updates from him.

He’s just let me know it has now been sorted after them being stood behind a cordon for quite some time.
