Hotel and dinner in London. Looking for honeymoon recommendations

DP and I are getting married next year. We've got a Sunday-Wednesday honeymoon and we were thinking about spending a couple of nights in a fancy London hotel with a nice restaurant. We have budgeted £500 per night for accommodation. Any recommendations? We are not particularly 'fancy' people and would prefer somewhere relaxed and friendly with no dress code (DP is very much a Jean's and tshirt man!).

I recommend the Royal Horseguards Hotel, even though it’s a really nice hotel and restaurant they are relaxed on dress code and jeans are fine. It’s right by the river too so great views

Agree with Horseguards, it's always my first choice. Or depending on your taste Browns, Shangri-La, Buxton or Kimpton Fitzroy are nice and a bit quirky

We spent our wedding night in the Morton hotel on Russell Square (and a few other romantic sexy

Sorry! Posted accidentally as the train bumped. Nights / afternoons I was going to say. Love the atmosphere and it's laid back, boutique. Not eaten there.

Clos Maggiore restaurant in Covent Garden.

The Mandrake Hotel is very quirky and plush - and boutiquey.

I don't know London at all - but can I point you in the direction of Dianne Buswell ( from Strictly)'s You Tube channel and the video she posted today?
She takes Joe Sugg for a date (their one day off a week just now) - skip through all the pan cake making nonsense - and they go to the Shangri La. You get to see 2 rooms - one in the daytime, and a different room later on (Joe requested a bath tub) - and views are INSANE.

The Rosewood. Love it there.

Other than the views, I think the rooms themselves are extremely underwhelming but I don't necessarily love a very shiny hotel.

If you do like shiny, the W and ME are worth a look. The bar in the Rosewood is good. The Rookery/Hazlitt's are very lovely if you like that kind of thing. The Nobu hotel is pretty sexy. As ridiculous as the whole place is, I'd look at The Ned, the rooms are really nice and the facilities are all so plush.

I really enjoy an expensive hotel. I could go on.

Ham Yard Hotel or Soho Hotel. Both great places and the restaurants serve fantastic food. I prefer Ham Yard but Soho is slightly cheaper. The bar at Ham Yard is particularly fabulous and the afternoon tea at the Soho Hotel is utterly delicious and served in the most gorgeous drawing room. Not remotely stuffy. Very relaxed and informal but with excellent service.
