What is this rash (pretty sure it isn’t slap cheek)

Ds has woken up this morning looking like someone has battered him.

At first we thought he had banged his cheek but it does seem to be spreading a little.

He also has it on his chin and the back of his neck

He’s well in himself, happy, eating, talking like a trooper it’s just this rash.

We are keeping him home from school anyway though

Is it itchy? Has he been scratching it?

Have you changed detergent recently? Looks like an allergic reaction to something. .
You could try taking him to your local pharmacy and see if they can give you anything for it. If it's itchy piriton might be the way to go.

No not itchy, no haven’t changed anything but he does mention that it hurts when you touch it.

It is spreading before our eyes and looking more and more like slap cheek.... luckily no pregnant women in the family

I’ve rang the school and they have asked me to check with a professional as they have a pregnant member of staff
