I signed up for an Adobe account 8 months ago. It was easy to sign up online and required me to pay £15 a month which i did through Paypal. Last month my ancient computer finally died and I am not in a position to get it repaired so i cancelled my standing Paypal payment and contacted Adobe to cancel my account.

They insist I am tied into paying for a year but i don't remember signing anything nor to they have any details on my other than my mobile number. What can they do to insist I pay? they were difficult to contact in the beginning but now, funnily enough, they are all over me!

Do you mean for a subscription to Creative Suite or whatever? If you chose the cheaper subscription, it will be annual but paid monthly, and so yes, you've signed up for a year.

The more expensive month-by-month subscription can be cancelled at any time.

If they don't have any other details for you I'm not sure what else they can do but I guess they may have your address details from when you did the payment with PayPal?

Maybe. I don't know if it's creative suite (computer deader than dead). Illustrator and Photoshop though only illustrator worked. I signed up for a student deal.

Am I breaking legal agreement do you think?
