Office 365 home subscription - 'unlicensed product' suddenly showing?

Help!

Not techy at all so need step by step help please.

Everything working fine yesterday. Start computer up today and all office products are opening up saying unlicensed product, and most features are unusable.

We have an annual subscription that the Microsoft site shows as being all up to date. Word seems to be OK on my laptop, but not on the PC (I prefer typing documents on the PC, so don't really want to change).

Anyone any ideas? Desktop PC running Windows 10.

It should give a number to call. Call them, if you have the subscription you'll have support.

If the subscription all looks up to date, you'll need them to figure it out probably.

I presume it's not asking for a lic no?

Are you logged in to your Microsoft account in the software?

Seeline · 05/11/2019 12:08

No - not asking for any info at all.

Yes, logged into the Microsoft account - that was the first thing I did, it normally works fine without it.

do you pay monthly and has your payment card run out (have you had a new card from your bank?)

Seeline · 05/11/2019 12:12

No annual subscription, and my account page says everything is up to date.

Word etc also seem to be working fine on the laptop and it is covered by the same subscription. It is only the PC that has freaked out (the one I use all the time!)
