Can I give a fourth dose of Calpol?

Posting here for traffic really. DD had 8 week jabs this morning (she's actually 9 weeks) and has been feverish and unsettled most of the day. The nurse said to give a further 2 doses of Calpol after the dose I gave her at the surgery.

She's had the 3rd dose but is still quite feverish - the Red Book just mentions 3 doses but the leaflet with the Calpol said that 4 doses can be given in 24 hours.

Am I ok to give a fourth dose of Calpol at 3am if she's still hot? And how long did your DCs have these symptoms? I can't remember it being this traumatic with my son!

What is her temperature? Is the call bringing it down?

Helpfully our thermometer no longer works but she is still warm to the touch but not quite the shivering hot she was earlier. I am going to stick with plenty of fluids (breastfed) until tomorrow. She's otherwise well so I'm not particularly alarmed.

I meant stick with plenty of fluids and not give any more Calpol for now. I think if the fever picks up again tomorrow I'll ring 111.
