Hand them over to your local food bank?

MrsTerryPratchett · 03/11/2019 16:40

They'd go off before you drank even a small proportion.

So yes, sell or give away.

Letthemysterybe · 03/11/2019 16:43

I’m sure that you don’t have to receive the whole prize at once. Like when they advertise ‘a lifetime supply’ it’s usually x amount for y years.

unicornsrule · 03/11/2019 16:47

Nothing else i dont drink tea

Gingaaarghpussy · 03/11/2019 16:52

Ooh! It never occurred to me that tea would go off. I shall have to throw away mine.

BlackCatSleeping · 03/11/2019 16:55

Stockpile them for in case of a zombie apocalypse.

sideorderofchips · 03/11/2019 16:57

I’m 114kg.

I could work my way through that. Along with work and friends and family

Fakeflowersaremynewnormal · 03/11/2019 16:59

Send one to every MNer and we could all have a cup of tea together Brew

Serin · 03/11/2019 16:59

I'd take them into work.
Our hospital would make light work of them!!

SnugglySnerd · 03/11/2019 17:01

I think they'd last our family about a month! We are big tea drinkers.

Winterdaysarehere · 03/11/2019 17:04

I was part paid for a job last month with 1500 tea bags!!

SoupDragon · 03/11/2019 17:06

I'm pretty sure the prize takes the form of vouchers rather than actual teabags. I remember listening to someone on the radio who won a years supply of fried chicken.

milliefiori · 03/11/2019 17:10

Food bank
School staffroom
Local fire station
Local hospital
Church socials for elderly and new mums

Technoterrified · 03/11/2019 17:21

I won a radio competition a few years ago - my weight in Ben and Jerry’s ice cream .......I received vouchers - quite a lot of them 😀

Rockbird · 03/11/2019 17:40

I could use those easily!

DickKerrLadies · 03/11/2019 17:43

First, I'd be upset that I don't weigh more.

Then I'd be happy that I don't have to buy any teabags for a few weeks!

Signed, A Northerner

LordProfFekkoThePenguinPhD · 03/11/2019 17:45

How many cups of tea is that anyway?

DickKerrLadies · 03/11/2019 18:32

Quick calculation based on a quick google.

A box of 1040 teabags on Amazon weighs 3.25kg giving a weight of 3.125g per teabag which would mean there's 320 teabags in a kg.

50kg = 16,000 teabags
75kg = 24,000 teabags
100kg = 32,000 teabags

Like I said, a few weeks supply Grin

DickKerrLadies · 03/11/2019 18:33

If my maths is wrong, blame the caffeine.
